CityMove Logo Design
CityMove is an online bidding site based out of NYC that connects moving companies with individuals who are looking to move. Their website allows users to collect moving bids for their job, as well as read verified reviews by other users.
Established in 2003, CityMove became a highly trusted resource in its market. However, their current brand identity, logo, color palette and website were quickly becoming outdated, and they were beginning to lose traction against competitors that were popping up.
Renoun Creative was brought on to completely redevelop their brand identity and website. We started the process by developing an expedited brand assessment, where we had the client answer a number of brand positioning questions. In addition, we researched several of the main competitors to better understand the variety and differences in the services being offered, and to build a collection of the marketplace’s various creative assets. These actions would then help us develop a new brand identity that differed enough from their competition so to be unique, yet familiar enough to be recognizable.
Following this, we created several new logo design and color palette options, which were reviewed and refined through several rounds of edits working with CityMove’s marketing department. The final logo was created in a variety of formats and orientations, as well as in full color, grayscale, black, and white in order to ensure that a suitable version existed for every possible scenario.
